These are things I would take. I know its not a lot but Im not good on saving money so I didn't look for good but affordable stuff. Most likelyI would send my boyfriend to do the shopping and help be prepare for this. I would take shampoo to keep my hair clean. I would take water to help me keep hydrated. And I would take a tent to have a place to sleep at night and not get bitten by some animal.

MARIAH CAREY

If I had the chance to talk to anyone I would ask Mariah Carey to have a conversation with me. I would have a conversation with Mariah because I love how she's a good singer. She wasn't wealthy in her younger years (growing up) and she is famous now with lots of money. She's also a mom and we can relate. She's inspiring on what she does and has lots of talent.
The type of conversation I would have with her would go something like, How did you make it so far? Was it hard? Did you have any help? Was it expensive? What made you wanna sing for living? What are changes that you've done in your life? What makes you wanna be so talented.? Those are a couple of questions I would ask. Being there would probably make me nervous and forget what else to ask but id write them down or something. Maybe after our kids can play,ask her about her marriage and how long it took her plan everything. I would also ask her if she can teach me how to sing ,of course no one would sing like her but she can give me some tips.

THANKGIVING

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving to me means to give thanks for what I have. To be thankful to my parents and of course god. Get together with my family and friends and have dinner . You shouldn't always just be thankful on thanksgiving,it should be an everyday thing. Thanksgiving is the exciting because you can talk to your family tell them why your thankful,if you don't tell them everyday.

On Thanksgiving my family usually get together at my moms house. My brother and sister come over and sometimes spend the night. In the morning we go to the annual soccer game they do at my moms job. Which is  all the Souplantations meet at a park and they compete until they get a winner. After that we go home and start the cooking,my mom usually makes tamales and ham, and the turkey,my older sister makes a fruit salad and chicken because her kids don't like turkey, and my brother brings all the beverages,mash potatoes,and a couple of side dishes. Since I don't do anything like buy or make I help. like around 8pm everyone starts coming and once everyone gets there we start eating and stuff our faces.

Now that I have my own family I do things a little different. I help at my house and than take my son to grandmas(in law) house,they do Thanksgiving on friday because the oldest sister doesn't have time to come down on Thanksgiving day. So after a while we go home and enjoy my families dinner. The next we go over to my in law and spend the whole day there since they don't get to see julian as much because most holidays we spend with my family. And thats how I spend my thanksgiving. The rest of the days I just chill with my little family and we watch movies or do some shopping.

EXTRA CREDIT

2. Yes, I do like magic,because its cool and people do stuff others can't. or they have they're on way of doing i1t.

ART

Graffiti is the type of art I like. Even though people think its a type of vandalism. When you see a lot of writing on the walls and you cant read it you will think its vandalism,but when you go to a place and take the time to see it you'll see that it actually is a piece of art. Thats one way that people like to express themselves.Sometimes they don't like to draw pictures,they're better at drawing letters or what some call it scribbles. 

I used to think graffiti was dumb,but now I like and enjoy going to places where I can see graffiti. Sometimes its hard to read stuff and others are just not nice so it makes me not like it. But some times Im out with my boyfriend and he shows me some really amazing graffiti thats hard to believe people take the time to do do some art on a wall that they cant even keep.

three things id take with me are food,water,and a blanket.

The first thing I would take with me is FOOD. I would take food because we need to survive and I don't know how long Id go without eating so I rather prepare myself and take some food. If Im gonna stranded Im sure there aren't a lot of options of food so Id take food that I like so I can eat and survive.

The other thing Id take with me is water. Because the number one reason is I don't like water from the sink. So I wouldn't be able to drink water from the island. Plus so many nasty things go in the water its nasty.

The last thing I would take with me are some blankets. why,because If its cold I can lay anywhere and cover myself,and If its hot I can lay on the blanket. Either way a blanket is very helpful so I would take one or two if possible.

PERSEVERANCE

If I had to choose between getting 50$ right now or 100$ in a year I would wait and get the 100$ in a year. Why, because with 100 dollars you can do more stuff than with 50$. I have also learned that if you wait for something its worth it.
I do have long term goals in my life. My life time goal is giving myself a better life style. Goals in my life are becoming a teacher,and also a ultrasound technician,being a good mother,and becoming a US citizen. I do kinda have a plan on how to get where I want to go. Im not sure if how I planned it correct but as I go Ill find out. For example the first thing I have to do is finish high school ,but while in high school take a CPR class and get a certificate, go to OCC or ICV and look at their early childhood development classes and see which one is better.Go to college is the next step taking classes in child development .I will also be taking classes to get a credential in teaching(pre school or kindergarden teacher). Which Im not sure because if I take E.C.D I can directly go work at a preschool. After a while and Im making money will go back to college and take classes to be an ultrasound technician. I will also be doing everything I can to provide Julian everything he needs,which is part of being a good mother. Ill be making money hopefully by having two jobs doing the things I want.Ill save up enough to become a US citizen if Im able to. And by doing everything that is in plan will hopefully lead to having a good life style.

The reason why I choose pizza as my #5 is because I only like pizza with stuffed crust. And not at every place you can get it with stuffed crust like at Pizza Hut. But sometimes Pizza hut can be expensive.
Hamburgers is my #4 because not all the hamburgers are the same. For example my favorite hamburgers are from In N out, The Habit, and Jack in the Box. A lot of other places don't make them as good.
My #3 favorite food are burritos why because they are good,have meat,and include rice and beans.
Actually thats the only way I eat beans because I don't like them. Its also pretty good when you have salsa on it.
#2 is Chinese food its pretty delicious when you get orange chicken chow mien and broccoli with beef. Also I only like the chinese food from a certain place not all chinese foods are good. And I don't like any other foods from china or asia.
My most all time favorite are Mexican tacos they're so delicious with cilantro and red chili sauce. Specially when you get asada tacos with a coke or something they taste pretty bomb. They are also pretty easy to make at home.

MY WEEKEND

This weekend I went looking for a halloween custom for my son and I. We to a couple of places like Target, Kmart and party city. Its hard to find a costume because I want to find a cheap but good and cute at the same time. My family says Im cheap but why do I want an expensive costume when my son and I are only gonna wear once. And I don't have other kids to pass down the costume.

After shopping at so many stores we finally found one for myself. Its simple but no cheap so Im still undecided about it but at party city we found a goddess costume Im interested in. But since Im in a budget and halloween is right around the corner I might take some ideas from the costumes at party city and make one at home with materials I already have. And for my son Im still undecided I have a giraffe one but everyone says thats baby like and Julian is more but a big boy. I love giraffes  so might ignore them and just make him wear it besides he still doesn't really know.

I also have a power ranger costume for my son, So right now Im still undecided for him. I have a giraffe,power ranger,and scare crow. So this halloween we will probably wait until the last minute to see what he will be. Or maybe Ill have him choose . Even though Im undecided about this Im still excited.

My wisdom

As a parent there is so much you can tell your child. And your child will only listen so much to your words. I am a parent of a boy and supposably boys always seem to rebel before girls. When my 19 month old son grows up to the part when he starts getting expose to drugs I will do my best to teach him that no matter what drug it is it will harm you in one way or another. I will teach him that just because his friends do it and make seem like its cool or their friends think they are cool its not and just makes them look like losers. Any drug can you kill you,it doesn't matter if its a low or high drug it will kill you. I as a mom will do my best to let him know not to do drugs. And not let him be around any one who does drugs.

The same thing will apply to alcohol just because his friends or family members do it also doesn't mean its okay. I believe there is a right moment and time where to drink for example family parties or special occasions. Not just for random nonsense reasons. Also just because its a family party doesn't mean you can drink, if your underage you shouldn't be able to drink at all. No matter if they say its just one beer,that one beer will lead or another and another one and so on. And before you know it theyre addicted.  Im a mom and will keep my son away from anyone who does drugs or drink. I want the best for my son and I will do anything to teach him what drugs and alcohol does to you.

I think the article is scary but truthful in a way. What it says its truth because a lot of kids are not informed on what the drug is or can do to you. And if they are informed they don't care because they see other people do it and it doesn't cause them harm so they think it will do the same to them. But not everyone has the same body. Its scary knowing what heroin does to you and seeing pictures is even scarier it makes you wonder why people do it.

Heroin kills you. Its main drug is morphine. If a lot of these people got informed they probably wouldn't  it do it,also their families should also be informed. And if they see something wrong with their child they should talk to them or ask for help. Talk about it don't be scared or embarrassed to ask for help, Im sure its more embarrassing telling people why your child died instead of asking for help.

People who used to do it and cleaned themselves should go to schools, clubs etc and talk about it to prevent other teen or even adults from using this drug that can kill you. 

AGAINST MARIJUANA

Against Marijuana

My personal opinion is that Im against marijuana. And ill explain my reasons in this paragraph why im against it. But there is only ONE reason why i would be okay with it and thats only if you are in really desperate need and there is not other medication for your health condition. In other words in all in against marijuana. 
Marijuana is not good for many reasons. One reason is because it teaches our younger kids that its okay to use the drug and doesn't cause any harm. Or since its legal are younger children think its okay to sell it. And it gets them into bad habits. Also older people think that smoking or getting high will just get rid of their problems when in reality after that "high" is gone their problems are still there. Our younger kids see that and whether we see it or not we are teaching them a lesson that its okay to smoke.
 Another reason why Im against marijuana is because it damages the way you think and act whether you recognize it not. It causes your brain to start liking the drug and will keep wanting more. After a while instead of causing happiness it may cause depression.Sometimes it if doesn't happiness or depression it will cause anxiety,fear, and panic. which is not good for you at all and probably don't need to go through just because of one drug. I would do it unless you are in desperate need and there are no other resource for your pain.

My opinion is that smoking is bad,because its definitely not good for you. And you take 3 seconds of your life every time you inhale the smoke. Not only are you taking your life away but also others around you life away for making them inhale your smoke which is second hand smoke. And it also causes cancer or make a hole in your throat.

Another reason why Im against smoking is because people smoke around kids. Who don't know what to do or where to go and they breath the smoke of others which is not good for them. And what can they do nothing. I have a little boy that has to breath the smoke of others because they cant control their smoking knowing there are kids around them. Also its super disgusting how cigarets contain like cat pee, dog poop,nail polish remover and lots more chemicals that Im sure they wouldn't eat on their own. In other words I dislike people who smoke specially around children.

My favorite singer is Mariah Carey. She's the best singer I know,and those high notes she can hit are just so amazing. All her songs are wonderful and most of them have a meaning or something you can relate to. She started from having nothing to becoming something in the music industry. She's also an amazing mother.

She also writes her own songs,and is an actress. Mariah Carey is just a talented women. She was born March 27,1970 in New York. She is now married to Nick Cannon who is also an actor and has his own  t.v. show called Wild N Out. They have 2 kids a boy and a girl.

Mariah Carey genre is R&b pop and hip hop soul dance and hip hop soul. A lot of her songs are about love. My favorite song by Mariah Carey is between We Belong Together and For the Record. Its kinda like a tie between the two. And I would love to go see her in concert because I haven't but the day she's in California I sure will buy her concert  tickets no matter how expensive they are. She's the best singer song writer I know. She's the best

MADD

(Mothers Against Drunk Drivers)

The charity Mothers against drunk driving is a non profit organization helping families stop drunk driving and underage drinking. It all started when a mothers daughter got killed by a drunk driver. It started 32 year ago, and it also helps victims involve with drunk divers. A lot of companies support the organization like NFL and State Farm.

The Charity I would donate money to is MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVERS. The reason why is because I have a son and its scary knowing that there are drunk people driving when they shouldn't. Drunk drivers don't really think about others when they're driving. Not only don't they not think about others but also don't think about their families if they have one. For example if the family depends on his income what are the wife and kids gonna do or the other way around.

Also its not our fault that we get into accidents for the mistakes of others. I support MADD completely because drunk drivers should get pushed big time the wreck they cause. Its also good they they help families with underage drinking because most the time the drunk drivers are in their young ages. If i was able to donate money it would definitely be to MADD organization.

RUNNING

My favorite hobby is running. I love to run it keeps me healthy. Not only is it a hobby but I also use it as a type of relaxation.

Running is my favorite hobby it keeps be healthy while I enjoy doing something I like. Its healthy and I can also do it with my son and it keeps us both healthy. Also while Im stressed or over whelmed I go out for a jog and come back feeling much better.

I was in track and field until I got pregnant. Its such an amazing sport specially because it includes running. Running is really good for you and its not necessary to be fast you in even go for a small jog. Running is such a good healthy exercise to do i recommend everyone should do it.

In the fourth grade at my Elementary school named Killybrooke he had something called type writers they were like mini calculators. They taught us how to type with out hunt and pecking .

JULIAN

Julian is my 19 month old son . He's a really good and smart little boy who fills my heart with love. He likes to play a lot specially with balls every time we go to the store he wants a new ball. He starting to learn how to jump which is funny. Sometimes he can be a handful and hard to take care of but I try my best to teach him right from wrong.

Julian is the most precious person I know. He did come to my life at the unexpected moment but i wouldn't change anything about it. He means so much to me that I try very hard in what I do just for him. Im not gonna lie it does get hard at times but he teaches me how to be a stronger women. Julian changed my life around completely and for the better.  I honestly don't have enough words to describe my love for him. And why because my love for him grows and grows each day.

I hope to teach julian valuable lessons of life as he grows older. I'll try my best to lead him on the right direction. And I also hope as he gets older he appreciates what I have done for him. I hope to accomplish all my goals so he can live a good life.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

DRUMLINE

My favorite movie is Drumline. Starring Nick Cannon . Drumline is about an african american that just graduated high school and is looking for a career in the music industry. 

Nick Cannon or Devin as his name is in the movie is a very talented with the drum. The only problem he has is that he doesn't know how to read music he just memorizes the beats. He struggles a little which is kinda like a good lesson.

 This is my favorite movie because it involves music and I like music. It has kinda of a lesson which is just because you think your good at something mean your a pro. I would recommend this movie to people who are into music or in band.

GMO's is organism whose genetic material has been  altered using  genetic engineering technics. they include micro organisms bacteria like and yeast. Monsanto wouldn't exist without farmers . They are support system to the worlds economy.
My opinion about GMO's are that they are unhealthy. Why because they carry bacteria that can go inside our bodies. They can leave material inside and cause long term problems which is not good for us.

My favorite game was dance revolution because it helps me how to keep my fingers on the home keys instead of looking for the letters.

I may not be the smartest kid around but my expertise is singing. I sang in CMHS and NHHS Choir. I was in choir for 5 years and I learned a lot. I sing along to music all the time,all types of music also. I don't only sing but listen to music. I like to learn about the artist all types not just one genre. 

Singing is not hard at all. There are things you need to do or it will be hard or you can hurt throat.

For example you need warm up, start with a small exercise like "DO, RE,MI, FA, SO" and if you know you can sing high you can continue with "LA , TI ,DO"which are more higher notes. It's very important that you warm up because even though its like a contact sport, you can hurt your throat. You also need to know how to read music so you can know how high or low you need to sing.

Singing is not difficult. Once you try it you'll enjoy it . Singing is amazing even if your not good. My passion for singing is very huge. I sing all time and know a lot of songs.  One day I hope to be come a singer or maybe a Choir teacher.

The Best Thing I Did This Summer

The best thing I did this summer was take my son to the beach. It was the best thing because the first time I took he was small he didn't really know what was going on. Now that he is a little bit older he knows more about whats going on. At first he was a little scared because he saw many people. After a while he was okay playing in the sand and eating it was his favorite thing. Once it got to the point where we were gonna take him to the water freaked out and started crying I believe it because the water  was cold. He didn't want me to put him down because he was just too scared.


His father was not so happy that baby Julian was scared. He forcefully got him from me and put him in the water baby Julian wasn't crying anymore but you can tell he was really cold by his facial expressions. After being in the water for a while he got over it and began to like it he was super happy. We were there for a while longer and by the time we were getting ready to leave he started crying because he loved the water so much. It was a really fun family day that it was the best thing I did this summer.
