These are things I would take. I know its not a lot but Im not good on saving money so I didn't look for good but affordable stuff. Most likelyI would send my boyfriend to do the shopping and help be prepare for this. I would take shampoo to keep my hair clean. I would take water to help me keep hydrated. And I would take a tent to have a place to sleep at night and not get bitten by some animal.

My conversation with Mariah Carey

MARIAH CAREY

If I had the chance to talk to anyone I would ask Mariah Carey to have a conversation with me. I would have a conversation with Mariah because I love how she's a good singer. She wasn't wealthy in her younger years (growing up) and she is famous now with lots of money. She's also a mom and we can relate. She's inspiring on what she does and has lots of talent.
The type of conversation I would have with her would go something like, How did you make it so far? Was it hard? Did you have any help? Was it expensive? What made you wanna sing for living? What are changes that you've done in your life? What makes you wanna be so talented.? Those are a couple of questions I would ask. Being there would probably make me nervous and forget what else to ask but id write them down or something. Maybe after our kids can play,ask her about her marriage and how long it took her plan everything. I would also ask her if she can teach me how to sing ,of course no one would sing like her but she can give me some tips.

THANKGIVING

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving to me means to give thanks for what I have. To be thankful to my parents and of course god. Get together with my family and friends and have dinner . You shouldn't always just be thankful on thanksgiving,it should be an everyday thing. Thanksgiving is the exciting because you can talk to your family tell them why your thankful,if you don't tell them everyday.

On Thanksgiving my family usually get together at my moms house. My brother and sister come over and sometimes spend the night. In the morning we go to the annual soccer game they do at my moms job. Which is  all the Souplantations meet at a park and they compete until they get a winner. After that we go home and start the cooking,my mom usually makes tamales and ham, and the turkey,my older sister makes a fruit salad and chicken because her kids don't like turkey, and my brother brings all the beverages,mash potatoes,and a couple of side dishes. Since I don't do anything like buy or make I help. like around 8pm everyone starts coming and once everyone gets there we start eating and stuff our faces.

Now that I have my own family I do things a little different. I help at my house and than take my son to grandmas(in law) house,they do Thanksgiving on friday because the oldest sister doesn't have time to come down on Thanksgiving day. So after a while we go home and enjoy my families dinner. The next we go over to my in law and spend the whole day there since they don't get to see julian as much because most holidays we spend with my family. And thats how I spend my thanksgiving. The rest of the days I just chill with my little family and we watch movies or do some shopping.

EXTRA CREDIT

1. No, I haven't seen any of David Blaine specials before.

2. Yes, I do like magic,because its cool and people do stuff others can't. or they have they're on way of doing i1t.

3.Yes I did enjoy watching the special because its just amazing what he can do.
4.My favorite illusion was when he made the color the girl was thinking appear on the wall with fire. it was so crazy how he got the news paper put alcohol in it drank alcohol and spit it ouy and than the color the girl was thinking popped upon the was. which was INDIGO
5.My least favorite was well I didn't really have one they were all so cool.
6. Will Smith and his family, Jaime Fox, Katy Perry, Psy, George W Bush ,Kanye West, Mack Lemoore, Harrison Ford,and  Emmy Rossum.
7. The celebrity I like most is Katy Perry, because she can sing good ,she has her own style and she's gone through some stuff and hasn't gave up.
8.Yes, I would watch another show of him because its so amazing what he does. Its crazy!

ART

Graffiti is the type of art I like. Even though people think its a type of vandalism. When you see a lot of writing on the walls and you cant read it you will think its vandalism,but when you go to a place and take the time to see it you'll see that it actually is a piece of art. Thats one way that people like to express themselves.Sometimes they don't like to draw pictures,they're better at drawing letters or what some call it scribbles. 

I used to think graffiti was dumb,but now I like and enjoy going to places where I can see graffiti. Sometimes its hard to read stuff and others are just not nice so it makes me not like it. But some times Im out with my boyfriend and he shows me some really amazing graffiti thats hard to believe people take the time to do do some art on a wall that they cant even keep.

stranded

three things id take with me are food,water,and a blanket.

The first thing I would take with me is FOOD. I would take food because we need to survive and I don't know how long Id go without eating so I rather prepare myself and take some food. If Im gonna stranded Im sure there aren't a lot of options of food so Id take food that I like so I can eat and survive.

The other thing Id take with me is water. Because the number one reason is I don't like water from the sink. So I wouldn't be able to drink water from the island. Plus so many nasty things go in the water its nasty.

The last thing I would take with me are some blankets. why,because If its cold I can lay anywhere and cover myself,and If its hot I can lay on the blanket. Either way a blanket is very helpful so I would take one or two if possible.

PERSEVERANCE

If I had to choose between getting 50$ right now or 100$ in a year I would wait and get the 100$ in a year. Why, because with 100 dollars you can do more stuff than with 50$. I have also learned that if you wait for something its worth it.
I do have long term goals in my life. My life time goal is giving myself a better life style. Goals in my life are becoming a teacher,and also a ultrasound technician,being a good mother,and becoming a US citizen. I do kinda have a plan on how to get where I want to go. Im not sure if how I planned it correct but as I go Ill find out. For example the first thing I have to do is finish high school ,but while in high school take a CPR class and get a certificate, go to OCC or ICV and look at their early childhood development classes and see which one is better.Go to college is the next step taking classes in child development .I will also be taking classes to get a credential in teaching(pre school or kindergarden teacher). Which Im not sure because if I take E.C.D I can directly go work at a preschool. After a while and Im making money will go back to college and take classes to be an ultrasound technician. I will also be doing everything I can to provide Julian everything he needs,which is part of being a good mother. Ill be making money hopefully by having two jobs doing the things I want.Ill save up enough to become a US citizen if Im able to. And by doing everything that is in plan will hopefully lead to having a good life style.
